Trauma Informed Schools (TIS)

At Sacred Heart we recognise the importance of the good mental health and aim to secure good mental health for all members of our school community. We are proud to have seven qualified TIS UK Practitioners working within our school, with more staff undergoing training each year. All staff have accessed some Trauma Informed Schools training.

Our aim is to support children with social, emotional and mental health problems at the earliest opportunity to prevent the development of serious mental health problems as children grow into young people and adults. At Sacred Heart our TIS UK Practitioners are:

Our mental health lead in school is Mrs Beardsworth.
