What is Catholic Social Teaching?


Catholic social teaching (CST) is rooted in Scripture and formed by the wisdom of Church leaders. It is our moral compass, guiding us on how to live out our faith in the world.


At Sacred Heart we ensure that these teachings are taught and practised throughout all aspects of our school life and beyond. It is how we ‘Demonstrate our Faith’ - the ‘D’ in PROUD.


This document sets out just some of the aspects of school life that are supported, and support CST.


We encourage the children to live their faith.
