Message from Mrs Mason

Plan for the Wider Opening of Sacred Heart Catholic Primary School and Nursery

I hope that all who are part of our Sacred Heart family are keeping well and in good spirits.

In recent weeks we have started to open wider to pupils in Reception and in Year One and it has been lovely to hear our school coming alive again with the voices of your children.

We would have liked to extend our opening further, to include all Nursery children, however, we have decided, following a thorough risk assessment, that that this will not be possible. I have written to parents of Nursery children today to explain the reasons for this decision. However, we are able to open wider to Year Six pupils. A letter has been sent out today, through Parent Mail with further information.

We have decided that we are able to open Sacred Heart to Year Six pupils for four days at the very end of term. We believe that it is important for our Year Six pupils to have the opportunity to say good bye to their friends, their teachers, their school and to their very precious primary years.

Open to Year Six pupils: Monday 13th July, Tuesday 14th July, Wednesday 15th July and Thursday 16th July 2020 (9.15am – 2.30pm)

The letter, sent out today, contains important information and asks parents to inform us if their child will be returning. We need to know by Wednesday 1st July at the following Email

Hope to hear from you soon,

Best wishes,
Mrs C. Mason
