Day 3. Farm Trip... and a very wet orienteering activity, but we survived!
Today the rain has been worse than anything I have experienced on any of my visits over the last 35 years; more rain than the centre staff can remember in their time here. The river burst its banks, the road outside was flooded and the forest tracks became streams - deep ones.
The children went out on an orienteering activity. They were absolutely outstanding. I cannot praise highly enough their determination, their enthusiasm and their courage. Parents, you should be very proud of your children: they were brilliant. And they kept smiling. From Mr Hoy
Day 4. Self-Led Walk and Orienteering.
More wetness!... but a lot of fun. And plenty more smiles.
